FACIAL VEINS

 

Facial spider veins are dilated veins that appear on the face and neck. They can be caused by excessive sun exposure, pregnancy, oral contraceptive use, and liver disease. They look likefacialveins thin red lines in the skin and can be so tiny that they look like generalized redness in the skin. The blood cells in the vessel absorb the energy from the light which selectively destroys the blood vessel. Usually, one to three treatments is required, 4 weeks apart.
